Here are some common questions that we get asked. If these FAQs still don’t answer your question, please give us a call so we can help you have the best light show experience possible!
How much are drive-thru light show tickets?
We think that the joy and fun holiday lights can bring should be affordable to everyone. The cost of a ticket for a standard vehicle (no more than 20 feet in length) is $20 Sunday – Thursday and $25 Friday – Saturday. This price covers everyone that is in your vehicle!
How many Christmas lights does your show have?
Magical Lights uses nearly 1.5 MILLION lights to put on our Christmas light show in Lincoln Nebraska! You could say that we have quite the holiday light collection.
Can I drive through more than once?
Unfortunately, we do not allow vehicles to pass through the show more than once per visit. Our show was once much smaller than it is now, and we were grateful to be able to allow viewers to take multiple trips through. However, as we have grown, so has our waiting line to view the show.
How long is the show?
If you drive at a slow and steady pace, it should take about 20-30 minutes to make it through the show.
Can we come through with our party bus?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow party buses to visit our show. Sharp turns in the light show do not allow any vehicles longer than 20 feet to safely make it through. If your vehicle is 20 feet or shorter, then please come on by!
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Black Friday to New Year’s Eve. Our light show runs from 6 pm – 9 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 6 pm – 10 pm Friday through Saturday.
Where is the show located and how do I get there?
Magical Lights of Lincoln, previously Magical Lights of Seward, now hosts Christmas Lights in Lincoln every year. We are now at a NEW location! Magical Lights is now located at the Lancaster Event Center, 4100 N. 84th Street in Lincoln.
Why did Magical Lights move?
As much as we loved putting on our show in Seward, Magical Lights needed to relocate to a larger venue that would allow us to continue to grow and reach toward our dream of becoming the largest Christmas light show in the country! Seward was a fantastic place to have our light show, but we quickly grew out of our space there in just three years. At the Lancaster Event Center, we will be able to not only double but TRIPLE the size of our light show! Plus, it’s an easily accessible location for viewers coming from all over.
How do you put this show together and where can I buy the lights you use for your show?
The Magical Lights of Lincoln team has a lot of holiday spirit and a big interest in Christmas lights! Everything you see at the show is built by us and not available in stores.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Magical Lights of Lincoln is in a new location now located in Northeast Lincoln, NE near the Walmart Supercenter on 84th & Fremont Streets. From N. 84th and Adams St, head North on 84th Street until you get to Havelock Avenue. From there head east on Havelock Avenue to the Christmas Light Show located just behind the Lancaster Event Center.
